Put my bike In for a service and new back wheel plus tyre. I had a wheel which I had bought from Halfords. Apparently the wheel wasn't the right size but left it there as I could possibly get discount off the new one. Paid 10 deposit. I was not told that it wasn't refundable if I chose not to approve the work. Service and work came in at about 120 which I was told was more than the worth of the bike. So I came to collect bike, wheel and deposit. Told no deposit, couldn't find the wheel and back reflector cable tied to the handle bars. Not at all happy, my Mrs had spent 160 doing up a bike and then I am treated like this. I got my deposit back but no wheel (36)plus will have to do the reflector myself. Could have been worse as I noticed that they charge 1 a day for storage and was there at least 10 days after quote. I did let the lady know I was not happy with this and felt I was out of pocket. She did offer me a very cheap wheel (15) which was nothing like the one I brought in. Quite upset as they must have sold it if it wasn't there. I felt Insulted so left. Wouldn't recommend.

For a drive along the seaside to Bexhill we rented 9 bikes from Johnny at Hastings Cycles, 7 regular bikes and 2 e-bikes. Unfortunately the frame sizes of the regular bikes were all the same, and the adjustable seat posts had their limits, but the size of the riders varied from S to XL Nevertheless, everything was organized very well, bikes are in a good condition and we had a great time thx. to Johnny and Dina.

Great service. We hired four bikes and a dog carrier and couldn't be happier. They even have us some waterproofs. Thank you.

Just had my electric bike serviced and cannot be more pleased. Everyone very friendly and helpful and great communications. Very professional but personal service which I highly recommend. Thank you Hastings Cycles.

Really kind owners who provided us with a rented tandom and child's bike plus free padlocks and helmets. We had a lovely cycle along the sea front. Thanks guys.
