Nab Cottage Vegan

Fantastic B&B in a great location with a wonderful host - hats off to Cathy (and Ruby! ) for making it a pleasant week's stay. Whilst you're mere minutes away from all the necessary amenities by car (and off-street parking is provided at the B&B), the location is also a small back street so there's no traffic to speak of and it's lovely and quiet. We didn't make the most of the garden and outbuildings as a) we were busy visiting family, and b) it was the middle of winter, but both looked wonderful and would be especially appealing to those travelling with dogs. The room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable, Cathy was very kind and helpful, the cookies were outstanding, and honestly, there was nothing we could possibly have wanted to be any different. Highly recommended.

We stayed here in December as a Christmas gift from my aunt . We're not vegan but my husband and I and our 4 kids were totally won over by the delicious pancakes and syrup! Cathy and her dog, Ruby, were very welcoming and we all loved our cosy rooms. It's the first time I've ever experienced an electric blanket.. how have I ever lived?! I got the chance to catch up on some feminist cartoons (also a first!) and play some scrabble, which is always a joy. The decoration, especially the ground floor bedroom, is beautiful. My husband and I, along with our dog Willow, had a great stay at Catherine (and Ruby's) cottage. Catherine was a lovely host and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. From the delicious home cooked breakfasts to the huge, beautiful backyard where our dog could run freely and securely, everything about our stay was excellent. We highly recommend it!
