Yuko Nakamura

I sought acupuncture treatment for a neurological condition early last summer. I knew there was little evidence for success in treating this condition, but working with Yuko it became clear that what I mainly presented with, and what she was noticing as a practitioner, was my depression. I was open to any treatment that might improve my day to day living. After some 5 months treatment I have been aware of subtle changes in my body and mood. that do constitute an improvement. Recently, the evening of the last treatment, I experienced some brief periods (2 to 5 minutes) of a dramatic improvement in mood and my speech, with a lifting, albeit briefly, of the mental fog I experience. It felt like a short return to normality. My partner witnessed this improvement in speech, which receded that same evening. I claim nothing for this and expect nothing; it is what it is, but I am open to what changes may be happening. Working with Yuko is great as she collaborates with me, and listens carefully to feedback I give on the sessions. She is very knowledgeable, professional and conscientious, and this helps create an atmosphere where I feel safe and cared for in this joint work. Paul G

I could not recommend Yuko enough, shes a miracle worker! I went to see her to help conceive my baby, and I fell pregnant. I then went to see her again at 36 weeks pregnant as my baby was breach, the baby was big so I didnt hold out much hope of anyone helping turn the baby. I went for acupuncture and moxibustion with Yuko and when i saw my midwife the next day the baby had completely turned and was head down in the perfect position. Yuko is truly amazing and I cant thank her enough.

Yoko is amazing. She's like a shaman acupuncturist! My partner massively hurt his back where he was not able to walk and could hardly speak as he was in so much pain. Because of Covid we were not to able to visit a doctor and get help. We had tried two Osteopaths but he just got worse. It was very scary to witness. Yuko was amazing she was so gentle with him and yet able to perform the acupuncture and he had immediate relief! After that he no longer had agonising pain and in time got better. He is now up and walking again. Thank you Yuko.
