        I had zero experience with any kind of self defence techniques and was very nervous about starting but the instructors at Defend are absolutely brilliant and able to cater to all levels of skill and ability. They make you feel welcomed, push you to try your best and are very skilled instructors. They also make it a lot of fun! Can't recommend them enough!

        Dave is a first rate instructor - very friendly and with expert knowledge. He demonstrates technique & explains why it works in the real world. You'd struggle to find a better instructor in the UK. Beginners are easily assimilated into the classes and lots of repetition means you learn fast. I make a 170 mile round trip to attend Defend. It's that good.
