Bright Horizons Haslemere Day Nursery and Preschool

Bright Horizons staff have been brilliant at helping us settle our one year old in nursery. Going back to work and handing your child over to strangers is a big step, and the interactions with the warm, friendly staff at Bright Horizons have been so reassuring. I can see how much our son gets out of spending the day with other children and with professionals who understand child development and who involve him in a range of fun learning activities throughout the week. We also receive lovely thoughtful updates on his development via the app, along with occasional photos and a daily update on his meals (a much better & more varied diet than I have at work!), nap times and nappy changes. The building is characterful, well-loved and warm. There is so much in the news now about the underfunding of the early years education sector and it's appalling. The job these professionals do is so important for our society - critical to children's development and safety - and they should be appropriately paid for that work. I'm very grateful we have a place with a nursery where we feel confident our son is safe and cared for.

My daughter has been attending Haslemere Nursery since she was 6 months old, she is now in Preschool. The care at the nursery has been excellent, now she is preschool the learning is the same. The staff are attentive and friendly, my daughter has a great relationship with them all, even the management. The management are always available if needed and are really helpful and organised. They have an on-site cook and the menu is great, full of homely delicious meals which is all cooked fresh each day. The Preschool room is great and the children have their own kitchen. The garden is a good size with 2 levels, a baby garden and a growing area which my daughter loves. I would highly recommend.

Bright Horizons Haslemere is a true home from home nursery, hidden away up College Hill. Following a recent 70,000 refurbishment, this nursery boasts an amazing pre-school environment with a working childrens kitchen. The gardens are a childs heaven - with new adventures in every corner. I love the warm welcome that I receive from the whole team, especially Rachelle (photo below) the Nursery Manager and Emma the Deputy Manager. This nursery is well worth a visit.
