        A magnificent gem tucked away not too far from Petersfield station. I took a train and a little uphill walk to get there and do the Hangers Way hike. Approx 12km, a beautiful loop with some ancient woodland, lots of mud and some birdlife. A particular point to note is the view from Mutton Chop Hill, many miles of the most beautiful scenery. The town is pleasant and compact too and easy to get around. This is a treat if you're looking for a day hike around this area.
