Chestnut View Care Home

I think we all recognise how difficult it is making the decision to choose the right care home for your family member & to hopefully get the best care for them, especially if youre not always locally enough to visit all the time. Thank goodness we were pointed in the direction of Chestnut View. The home is well run and they have a excellent dedicated team working there. We have found all the staff so friendly and the care team dealt with a recent emergency health issue with such care and compassion throughout. Our family member is so happy there and we get a real sense that they truly care about the residents. All the staff we've met are helpful and go out of there way to make sure that the residents are looked after. Any questions are quickly replied to and dealt with and there is always a cheeery face to greet you when you arrive to visit. They have a full programme of things to do each week and the residents can choose to join if they wish. Our family member is always clean and tidy and we can see them daily on video calls from their own device in their room( which we supplied). We are so happy that our family member was placed here from a previous home which was far from satisfactory. Thank you ALL the staff at Chestnut for looking after him so well.

Lovely caring home with attentive Management and staff. They go out of their way to be caring compassionate and kind. Totally would recommend for any family looking to place a family member or friend in the knowledge they they will be cared for to the highest level

My experience was that the staff at Chestnut View went out of their way to make the residents happy and comfortable. The menus always looked varied; if someone did not like the primary menu choice, there was always an alternative. The home manager always supported us with any questions or concerns. The home has a caring and cosy environment; it feels like a home away from home.
