Darnleys

My husband and I go to Darnleys quite regularly now. We always order the chicken bacon mayo ciabatta and chips to share, as their portion sizes are so generous! Although the waiting time is a bit long we are always happy to wait as the food is all made fresh to order from scratch. Would defo recommend to anyone going, its worth the wait.

Horrendous coffee, the barista burnt the milk and still served it!

Truly revolting coffee. The place has a fancy barista machine but this wasn't even used to make the drinks?! Flat White came out in a giant cup and was literally scalding hot black coffee with a splash of milk. It was bitter, ridiculously strong, and totally undrinkable. Took it back to the counter and got a condescending explanation of what a Flat White is. I asked for a cappuccino instead, and what came out was the same scalding hot, bitter coffee with half a centimeter of airy milk foam on top. The barista machine absolutely wasn't used, as we were watching! Paid the bill and left without drinking the coffee. It was inedible and revolting. We were also told there was a 30 minute wait for food, despite every other table in the place already being midway through their meals...
