Shopped here, went to pay and the woman behind the counter put the price of each item into the till. I watched her do it and I looked at the till to see what she was charging me. I gave her my money, she put the amount I gave her into the till, I looked at the till to see what change I should get, I looked at her looking at the till and looking at what change she should give me, she handed me my change and I saw she'd short changed me. The thing hot me you see!! Because I saw her looking at the till, looking at the amounts she was entering, looking at the total I was being charged and looking at the change I should've got. Ok, it's only 1p but as I walked away I thought "It's the principle of the thing. If she does this regularly to customers, this place could make up to a couple a hundred pounds extra a year, if not more!!! Nah, I ain't takin' that coz this woman well an' knows what she's doing." The thing vex me!! So before I left the place I went back and told her clearly what I'd seen her do, and the way she answered me told me she well an' knew what she was doing was wrong. I've been in shops where men, and it's usually men I see do this, tell the shopkeeper to keep the 1p change but the shopkeeper's let their customer decide for themselves if they wanna do it. The shopkeeper didn't take it upon themselves to keep their customers change, even if it was only 1p. It's the principle of the thing. Let me, the customer decide if I want the grocery shopkeeper to keep my 1p change!! I wanna shop somewhere I can trust and feel comfortable and relaxed that they ain't gonna rip me off. Yeah, the shop's well stocked an' it's a convenient place to go if you wanna few things but I ain't shopping here no more, t*i3v_s!!!!
