Harwich town still has an active Dock, despite having become dwarfed by the vast facilities on the Suffolk bank of the estuary at Felixstowe, as well as competing with nearby Parkeston. Commercial shipping visits Harwich Dock on a regular basis with assorted loads from the Baltic, Scandinavia, & elsewhere. It's fascinating to see the shipping complete its journey after having come so far across the North Sea...
