Just a warning that Laila foods contain potentially lethal contamination in the form of stones and rocks. No interest or reply from the brand in question and as you can imagine Corporate are very difficult to get in touch with. Obviously both the Dulai brothers have no faith in their product, their brand or their service.

Placed an order before Christmas 1400, got an email said delivery was 21st December. Now 03/02. No delivery. Sent 10 emails, rang up several times got no reply, I have no option to have to get money back through the bank and still waiting to get my money back as a delivery is no hope

Absolutely rubbish customer service. They are not worth the one star I gave. Liers and dishonest people. I have always bought laila gold rice and they cook amazing. December 2022 I purchased two 10kg bags from Tesco Birmingham. Once I cooked they were not long and fluffy long grain laila gold rice as usual they were tiny, quality was really bad Laila gold rice is known for its length and quality . ( this rice is like laila green in a laila gold bag.) I have sent pics and barcodes to prove this. ( I bought another bag of rice and compared them and they are different rice. After few trys I kept getting the same small broken rice. So I contacted surya foods , since January I have been sent one email by Stuart whos talked about the procedures they take before packing the rice and mentioned they do have a new supplier but tests were all normal. Mirnal at customer service has been giving different numbers for different people who never get back to you or reply. Stuart doesnt reply to my emails after the first reply. Laila gold customer service is absolutely terrible a shamble. I am surprised they are still up n running. Mirnal also said I wasnt the first to complain about laila gold rice. Pics show pilaue as the faulty rice and biryani as the new bag, I had to buy again. Definitely wont be buying from you again.worst customer service ever.
