2 very different sides to this nursery. Firstly the actual nursery staff are amazing, Sue, Cynthia, Caz,Judith and Dani are fantastic and any nursery would be privileged to have them! The financial side of this setting is just disgusting!!! From September 2017 until March 2019 I was battling with the accountant (Chris)and chairman (Clare) of the nursery about money that I had supposedly owed. At one stage they were claiming I owed 1300 despite showing them all printed off invoices and paid bank transactions proving that this wasnt the case at all! Many times I was threatened with court proceedings and suspension of my son from the nursery if this amount wasnt paid in full. This was made even harder as countless forms for my student finance childcare grant were filled in wrong which would delay my payments for 28 days each time.Excluding emails, all other forms of contact were made in the reception of the nursery for all other staff and parents to hear. Very unprofessional! After insisting forensic account levelling detail on my account and speaking to a superior source, I was finally proven right that I indeed didnt own anything of the sort. Not a single apology was given to me. Unfortunately many other parents have experienced these same encounters. Despite going through all of these issues I carried on to do the 15 minute drive to and from the nursery purely as the childcare staff were amazing and myself and my son had a great relationship with them. As the childcare side is extremely different to the financial side, it puts Nursery manager Sue in a very unfair position when she is told to ask parents about payments and even refuse a childs place until payments are made (when this has been done she has had complete respect of the parent and spoken to them privately and in a lovely manner) She is a lovely person and its extremely unfair on her to be put in such a position as she isnt involved in the financial side of things. Overall, amazing staff, worst finance team!

Harvey Bears Nursery is amazing. I can't recommend it enough. My little boy who is 2 has been going for over 12 months now and he loves it. Such a home from home feel, he loves all the staff and comes home with lots of things every day. He is full of stories especially on a Friday when they do science experiments. Thank you to all involved in making this nursery such a fun place for my little boy to grow and learn......a very happy boy... And a very happy Mummy.

We have had 2 of our children go through Harvey bears and have found the experience 1st class throughout, kind staff, flexible to changing work needs, and our children have and continue to adore being in the setting.

My almost 3yr old daughter has been attending Harvey Bears since she was 6 months old. She loves it. The staff are all angels who care so much about all the children both in terms of general happiness and well-being as well as their educational development. Theres something different to do every day both set activities and bags of free-play. The pack-away aspect keeps this fresh and interesting but never over-stimulating which I feel lots of kids environments often can be.
