Rooms: Disappointed as expected to be in the main hotel, not an annexe that smelt damp. Sink wa is not attached properly and wobbled. The shower head only had one position. No shower cap available. Heating o all night had to have window wide open. Noteworthy details: If you are in an annexe, it is uphill, and no one offers to take your luggage. If it's raining, you are going to get wet.

Fantastic hotel, from the moment we were checked in by the friendly and welcoming Beth we had a great time. The hotel has lots of lounge space with marvellous wood panelled seating areas to relax in. Spectacular grounds provide excellent places to walk and relax. We booked it for a birthday getaway to visit Evesham & Worcester and we will definitely be returning.

Very disappointing for a supposed 4 star hotel. Friendly adequate restaurant staff, often absent bar staff. Hit and miss breakfast offerings. Broken bedroom decorations and chipped glasses... Disappointing. Rooms: In need of detail.

We stayed this week at the Wood Norton for two nights. We were disappointed with our room and the food. Our room had no opening windows and overlooked a small roof that was littered with cigarette ends and other debris. The furniture was chipped and there were holes in the wall where possibly a television had been hung. The room was shabby. We had stayed there years ago and had been impressed but not this time. It has definitely got run down and was in need of some TLC. A leather sofa in the lounge was ripped and the seating was being propped up with books underneath. The food was overpriced and menu was limited. We had a 30.00 each allowance towards dinner but as the main courses were 22-27 it was obviously not going to cover starters and dessert. You also had to pay for extra veg etc at 4.50. We had starters so had to incur extra costs. A bottle of prosecco was 40.00 which retails at approx 10.00. A small white wine spritzer was 9.75 and a glass of soda and lime was 4.50. We also bought a toasted sandwich for lunch one day which was horrible. The bread was rock hard and it was swimming in grease. On the plus side the full English breakfast was nice. We paid 526 for a two night stay which included a cream tea on the first day and a bottle of prosecco. The scones weren't the best but we ate them because we were hungry. The staff were pleasant but that didn't make up for the poor food and shabbiness of our room. We definitely won't be going there again as we feel it has gone downhill and is overpriced . A disappointing trip for our silver wedding anniversary
