The best holiday was had here! We stayed the end of August as a family of 4 and our two children aged 2 and 5, mention this holiday very often! We enjoyed a horse drawn adventure for 3 nights and it was brilliant - such a great experience. Would highly recommend for anyone with children who love the outdoors, freedom and exploring - We will be back! A special Thankyou to Barny who was brilliant and ensured we had an amazing experience And the most beautiful horses, who are talked about every day at home Meg and Biddy. They made our holiday a memory to treasure. We had the best time! Becky, James, Ruby and Honey x

The place is absolutely amazing! When we arrived Barny had the hot tub ready for us, it is closed to the stream, so dipping in the freezing water in February after being in the hot tub felt soooo good! So therapeutic and relaxing and beautiful and peaceful. I cannot recommend it any better.

We have just come back from the best holiday ever! Barny and his family were lovely. Made us feel like we were part of his family! The experience of washing from the stream, cooking on a fire. No cars, mobile phones, laptops for a week was heaven! Caravans were lovely and most of all the horses were so looked after too! Thanks again Barny we'll be back!

An utterly magical adventure. We spent a week on holiday but it felt so much longer (in a good way!), as if time stood still and we were in another time, in a Samuel Palmer painting. Our very relaxed days in camp were spent chatting, laughing, cooking, knitting, sketching, tending the fire and making sure that Biddy and Meg - the gentle and beautiful cobs - were watered. We also had time to explore the local area on foot. When we moved on, Barny came, harnessed up Meg and Biddy and we slowly meandered our way along holloways and byways to our next camp, even picking wild raspberries en route. Barny was a wonderful, gentle and informative host providing a personalised, one-to-one experience. By far one of the best holidays we have ever had. We'd give it more than five stars if we could. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
