Clocktower Gym

Bigger on the inside, much more equipment than you would expect. They have grouped equipment mostly based on what part of the body you are working on, which is handy. Really good calisthenics workout area, much better than a lot of gyms. I love doing pullups, chinups, tricep dips, pushups and more so this is great for me. I enjoy the music playlists, mostly upbeat EDM that really keeps you awake in in the right frame of mind to workout. I've been coming at around 5-7pm ish and there's still plenty of space to park and plenty of free equipment to get a solid workout in. If you are new to the area (like I was) Park in the town centre carpark (free) and walk through the pedestrianised bit. You will spot it eventually, literally right below the clock tower. Not totally sure if there's a water fountain to refill your water, but there is definitely a shop selling it along with some other things.

Glad to be back for my daily visit to Clocktower Gym. Plenty of work has been going on during the periods of lockdown, and some new equipment added too. The struggle to make my chest stick out further than my belly continues
