Wonderful shop that's full of delicious food and pretty trinkets that you can't find in the supermarket. The shop is beautifully laid out and the staff are all lovely. Don't forget to go upstairs as there is more to explore up there!

I routinely shop for foods free from both milk and nuts, which can be difficult. This shop is my go to destination when I want something specialist or just better quality than the supermarkets. I've eliminated wasteful plastic bottles of milk by getting refills here, my eggs are from an organic farm within 20 miles and I can get a wide range of nut and dairy free chocolates whenever I want them. It's vital that we all support small local businesses like this one or they'll vanish from our high streets, which would be a tragedy both for them and for their customers who choose not to, or cannot, use alternative shops. The addition of a milk dispenser from the Dorset Dairy Co means I can also get fresh milk in a glass bottle. This has become a weekly (or more often) visit now for eggs, milk, and a lovely coffee and cake.
