I've always had wonderful experiences with Clifton Lodge. It's obvious the staff are devoted to the animals in their care and go over and above for them. I also find the vets very honest, empathetic and easy to talk to about treatment, costs etc. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you Clifton Lodge! x

Have put to sleep a healthy dog when the breed rescue group were ready to step in and take her to a foster home. The so called owner was NOT the owner according to the microchip database so the vets decided upon it selves to ignore the RCVS recommendations of adhering to the Tuks Law which gives clear instructions when the microchip information does not match. Shocking and heartless that no only has this happened they wont even speak to those people who were willing to help. How ironic that the vets are happy to reply to other reviews but not those concerning this incident of a dog being pts by an alleged owner

Shameful. This practice put a young, healthy dog to sleep on the instructions of someone who could not prove they were the legal owner. They should have waited and followed protocol. Even worse, there was a home waiting for the dog through a registered charity dog rescue. There is no defence.
