Newcastle centre is all over the place, dont understand why I was put on a placement with a company that mostly specialised in building with only small aspects of plastering? The manager of the company I did a days work for also didnt understand why I wasnt told that after I made it clear I only wanted plastering work to pro-active training. The tutors Gurdy, John and Steve are great and Ive learned a lot from them, but the organisation of placements that are relevant to training is below par.

As a employer I have been using pro-active training for a few years now and found them great to deal with .All the staff are always available to help with any queries or questions and are very professional. I have had 2 apprentices of pro-active and have currently got a lad on the traineeship who i am looking to take on as a apprentice in the coming Weeks

Received a phone call from Elisia back in September asking if we wanting to take on a lad that wants an apprenticeship for 4 weeks and we would receive a 1000 incentive to take him on but if we didn't want to we would still get the 1000. The lad came out, cracking lad, keen to learn so we decided after the 4 weeks we would take him on but after we received the incentive. Weeks and weeks of phone calls to Elisia she filled us with rubbish every single time saying she's having problems with the link where we would apply for the incentive. Fast forward to the end of January and she rings up and says the funding has been cut and we don't qualify for the funding anymore. What a con. We will be taking this further with a solicitor. SCAM .. ROBBING THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF GRANTS.
