Twisted Ginger

As we had eaten a huge breakfast we only wanted cake at lunch time. Yet we were still made very welcome. The staff are an asset to the place. Cake was amazing. Definitely will be back to try the Cauliflower steak Sunday lunch x

We were so unsatisfied with our visit tonight. After visiting here once before and it was really nice we decided to go for our mother's birthday and she was highly disappointed. First was the cocktail menu. My mother was really looking forward to a nice cocktail. There were 3 on the menu and a message saying ask staff for more, however the staff were unable to make any others and the one she received, they didnt have any of the fruit for it. Then we waited an hour for our food to come, which tasted ok, but we were put off by the hair that me and my husband both found in our chips. I was also disturbed to see the chef touching the food with his bare hands but using his phone in between without washing his hands. When we got to the dessert, which we weren't offered but had to ask for, I was also in disbelief watching the same chef balance our cakes and brownies on top of each other against his body while he plated them up, probably the reason why there's hair in the food. My mother had asked for a biscoff ice cream sundae, which we watched the chef make the wrong sundae but then ran out of ice cream so she couldn't have one. They did offer her chocolate ice cream instead but by that point she was so upset she just wanted to leave.
