Well Hartlepool - Victoria Road

Got an emergency prescription filled a few weeks ago, and then found they'd taken being my nominated pharmacy without permission or consent. Manager completely unhelpful, only offered to return my prescription so I'd have to wait longer to get it elsewhere, and insisted that no one there could have taken over being my pharmacy without my permission. Clearly someone has, so a formal complaint has been sent to their head office for investigation. Wouldn't back to a well pharmacy or ever recommend them to anyone.

Staff are chronically rude! Ringing them feels like trying to extract information from a spy, even though you're just trying to find out about your own medications. Medication is never prepared when you go to collect it even if you ring in advance of picking it up! I cannot say enough bad things about this pharmacy. Bring a thick skin as well as your prescription

It's always the same here . Nothing ever ready no matter when it was sent across by the surgery. Disgraceful attitude as well . Shouldn't be in business

Since this became Well Pharmacy, service has improved in some ways and deteriorated in others. Service can be slow even if you're the only person there. They often cannot fulfil your entire script in one go. I usually run over to Whitfields and they will fulfil the entire script there and then. On more than one occasion they've tried to overcharge me for items that are clearly priced on the shelves. The staff used to be really rude and confrontational, but thankfully since it became Well Pharmacy, those people have left. Clean and tidy with accessibile doors and nearby parking.

Father in law had a terrible experience with the delivery man he was abusive and threatened to punch my father in law I know this individual has gone now? And this was reported. Once my wife found out about his attitude we were waiting quietly next time. The lady next to dad in hartfields was in tears we could he him yelling at her so I went out and he threatened me !!! Something wrong with that man the should not be delivering to elderly patients .....
