Lovely (gentle) walks to the sea, woodlands, and the gardens. House is full of 17thC to 20thC history with some records back to 12C. Privately owned makes this less formulaic than National Trust.

Certainly not as grand as some of the other large country houses but this house is still lived in by the owners, volunteer guides were very friendly and polite. The walled garden was tranquil and a lovely place to visit, anyone with walking difficulties would do best to ignore the direction signs and just follow the road (taking care of the oncoming traffic) following the signs the paths are uneven and have a number of steep steps, toilets were in need of some refurbishment.
