We had a great time at this cottage - where nothing has been overlooked in terms of facilities, equipment - together with lots of pamphlets on the local attractions and booklets on the history and geology of this most interesting corner of North Devon. There is a great deal of storage for clothes and provisions which is most thoughtful. For a week's break there is so much to see and explore - that there is no need to travel back to the A39 until your return home. The costal walks are spectacular but nothing is on the level so anyone with a disability might find this area, and getting to and from the cottage, which has steps - quite a challenge. The owner is most keen on you having a good time and for everything to work smoothly. We left something behind and this was returned to us without any fuss. Everything you will need is sent via email links to attachments a week before your break so you can plan your visit in advance - which was useful.

Superb!! This was our 2nd stay at Yapham Cottages but in Shipload this stay, Windbury previously. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped with superb views over the local countryside. The cottages are reached down an unmadeup drive of about 300 meters in wooded surrounds. The wildlife is brilliant especially birds, each cottage having bird feeders which are filled daily by Martin who looks after the cottages and area brilliantly. If you enjoy walking you are well catered for, Hartland Point and Lighthouse well worth a visit and the hotel provides excellent food and service. You like shopping? you will enjoy the Atlantic Mall on the outskirts of Bideford where one can obtain just about everything including food of all tastes. Yes give Yapham cottages a visit and I know that you will not be disappointed.
