The accommodation is clean & spacious. The drive from Welcombe was down a narrow country lane with a number of potholes ( there is a easier route which takes you through Mead)
There was a lovely Devon tea that greated us on arrival. The barn is about a 10 minute walk from the coast path. As we are keen walkers this was ideal so we went out for a number of walks in the week we were there. Bude is about a 20 minute drive away along with Clovelly.
There is Internet available along with a DVD player. The Internet is intermittent but it was just great to get away and recharge the batteries.
The pub is a 2 mile walk from the accommodation but is well worth a visit. Lydia & Chris provide great information on their website but a welcome pack would not go a miss along with maybe some local walking routes.
We loved our week here and will definitely book again.
