The Point @ Hartland

Dont count on the tea house! We are walking from Clovelly to Hartland Quay on the SWCP. Weve read reviews stating that the tea shop may not be open. So we called two days ago to make sure she would open. She assured us it would be, so we didnt bring a packed lunch. When we got there it was open, but it was only serving tea, coffee and ice cream today because the person decided not to make sandwiches today. It was very disappointing.

Closed on 17th April! I think this important information for walkers who may rely on this for a lunch stop. There was a note in the window that they were looking for staff for 2023 season starting from Easter. We were there after Easter and there were no signs of it opening soon. Disregard star rating as I had to leave a rating to add this note.

No indication that the cafe was closed either on website or as we paid the manned 3 toll to park.

Excellent place to walk and take in the stunning coastal cliffs! Posh tea kiosk with a variety of snacks. We enjoyed our cream tea and shelter from a brief rain shower.
