So, Alitex undoubtedly creates beautiful aluminium greenhouses - at eye-watering prices. How eye-watering you ask? Well, the National Trust Wimpole I requested a quote for was advertised at 32,945 on their website - this includes delivery & installation across mainland England & Wales.
But, I live in Aberdeenshire, Scotland so I was anticipating a modest increment on delivery/installation north of the border. But, never did I dream that the increment for bringing the 2-man install team approx three hours north of the border (but still in mainland UK!) would amount to an additional 2,650 over an install in England/Wales!!! Basically, the entire delivery/install cost already built into in the website quoted price is banked by Alitex and the delivery charge to Scotland is then recalculated from their Hampshire base to your Scottish home!
Do you really think that is reasonable Alitex?
I guess, with delivery times in excess of 12 months - this and your pricing strategy tells me that Alitex clearly doesnt want or need my (Scottish) business on this occasion.
