I recently joined one of Susie's group classes in Morpeth to keep up with my French after finishing my A Level last summer. I look forward to every lesson as it is both socially and academically engaging. There is always a lovely atmosphere in the class and Susie's enthusiasm for teaching and language really shines through. Despite completing A Level French only recently I know I am sure to learn something new each week, especially things which are not part of the school curriculum but are crucial in giving me the confidence to put the language into practise abroad which I am hoping to do next year. Susie really has a talent for teaching, particularly when it comes to putting languages into context and coming up with interactive ways to consolidate learning. I would recommend her classes to anyone, new starters, or people wanting to maintain or rediscover a foreign language.

Well I last posted a review a year ago after completing Susie's 6week conversational holiday French . Well the group enjoyed it that much we have stuck at and are in the midst of past tenses and reflexive verbs . Susie comes up with simple ways to remember things building on things weekly but making it fun, especially finding out what everyone in the group have been up to the previous week in french !! I'm continuing with this and now feel I've finally made progress in speaking a language .

I go to Susies Spanish class in Harrys bar. Its great fun with Susie being very enthusiastic about learning. She caters for all levels and differentiates within the group whilst encouraging have a go conversion without embarrassment. Its not easy but it is enjoyable. I thoroughly recommend having a try. Suzie is in all honesty the best teacher I've ever had -I'm learning French. She is kind, patient and adapts her teaching to your learning style. She just understands her students and then knows how to make it all work. I was so nervous going on my own but I've made some lovely new friends and with that comes the pleasure of learning a language. I'm 51 and thought I was past learning but it appears that with Suzies support and encouragement I can do this... highly recommend Suzie and her classes. Set in an informal comfortable surrounding with people who really do want to be there makes learning so enjoyable. This is the best thing I've done in a long time. Suzie is a treasure and has the patience of a Saint...

I'm trying to brush up on my very rusty Spanish. I find Susie's group very friendly and easy going, making learning fun. Susie is supportive and always has time to explain anything that I may be struggling with.
