Unbelievably SLOW service delivering to vulnerable people in thier homes, it takes an entire week AFTER the referral from Westminster Connects service to deliver tinned poisening and out of date throw aways. North Paddington foodbank is UNFIT FOR PURPOSE, the definition of a foodbank is to respond to EMERGENCIES and provide a service to the most vulnerable needy members of society. It catagorically FAILS to do what it was designed to do, unless they hire more volunteer drivers, it has so far LET down SO MANY of its elderly, sick and disabled clients. I shall be contacting the charity regulator. Disgusting and appalling service, the staff dismiss complaints or concerns via text message and when approached or challenged, are very rude and to clients who are simply checking where thier ridiculously long awaited food parcel is. I suggest to the clients or anybody using this service for the first time, to instead contact Westminster citizens advice bureau and get a better experience from the Westminster foodbank.
