Nourish Plant Kitchen

Used to love this place. Fresh and healthy vegan food is sometimes hard to come by in Harrogate but this place had it and then some. But recently it's really gone downhill. The menu has shrinked SIGNIFICANTLY! It used to be multiple pages long but now has about 4 items?! Visited this morning with my wife for brunch. Waited 20 mins for a very bitter coffee while the staff stood having a chat. Barely received an apology. Was then asked if we wanted our smoothie as well which we said yes to! 10 minutes later, still no smoothie and no explanation as to why a smoothie would take so long. The cafe was empty and we were approaching an hour wait for a sandwich and a smoothie bowl so we decided to leave and go elsewhere. As hospitality workers ourselves, we understand that delays and mistakes can happen but the lack of communication or apology from the staff was pretty abysmal for such an empty cafe. Won't ever be coming back and it's a real shame.

Waited 20 minutes for a coffee in a practically empty shop. Waited a further 10 minutes for a smoothie that was ordered at the same time before giving up and going elsewhere.

Really tasty dishes, all plant based. Very nutritious and good sized portions. Democratic prices. Only quibble was the length of waiting for drinks (20 mins) and food (30 mins) when cafe was quiet. Friendly staff, good decor and nice atmosphere. We were able to sit out in the autumn sun which was a plus. Would go again and have recommended to friends.

Service is soooo slow, we couldn't wait wait any longer & left after only having a coffee.
