I did a tour with Mark as part of a hen do and had a great time! He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about Harrogate and the actual cycling wasn't to hard (for someone who isn't a frequent biker). A great time was had by all!

Absolutely terrific experience. Mark was extremely knowledgeable, very charming and a born teacher. Even as locals we came away armed with mountains of new factoids about our "green emerald in the North" (as Mark so poetically put it). Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Great outdoor activity!! I was a single traveller and the bike tour was a good opportunity to get my bearings, learn about Harrogate and get some fresh air. It was 2 hours well spent. Mark is very knowledgeable and knows not only the town's history but also where to get an exceptional coffee. I highly recommend this tour and will do it again next time I visit.

We highly recommend this tour! Mark was an amazing tour guide! We were super fortunate in that he brought the bikes to our hotel. He was super patient with all of our cycling ability and taylored the tour accordingly. Dont hesitate to take this tour if you are not an experienced cyclist. Mark is a history teacher and he brings a teaching perspective to the tour. He learned that we had taken the walking tour the previous day and took our tour in a direction ensuring not to repeat the information from what we previous learned. We greatly appreciated learning about Blind Jack and the influence he had on the Harrogate area and beyond. He also shared a great deal of the history of the area before it turned into a spa town. It was great to learn about the Stray, the rail road reaching Harogate - and the effect the class system had on shaping the city. We greatly enjoyed the information and he shared in a format from the perspective of a great informed story teller. He provided great recomendation for the rest of our visit to Hartogate and the suurounding area.
