Three's a Crowd

Most places I go to at lunchtime I only want something light and not to expensive, so I was slightly amused to find this place does not do sandwiches. We are a Restaurant was the reply when I asked if a sandwich was available. Well you have a bar which people lean against and drink, so I would say your a pub that does food. We went to The Fat Badger, excellent rare roast beef sandwich, triple cooked chips, a pint & a glass of wine 28

Dietary restrictions: We were offered a Gluten free menu Then told they couldnt cook any gluten free food!!!!

Excellent service, lovely surroundings. Slingsby gin evening, 5 courses with 5 different gin cocktails. Everything was perfect. From the gruyere gougere with caviar taster, goats cheese bonbon, razor clam, ginger & spring onion emulsion, braised pork belly through to the ginger sponge with Slingsby rhubarb sorbet. Just the right amount of everything. Will definitely be back for more .
