        Green Gables claims to be a Montessori nursery yet has no trained Montessori teachers - which is an obvious con to charge higher fees. The owner is disinterested in the business so standards are visibly low. Staff turnover is high, children are unhappy in their cramped surroundings and there are much better options in the Harrogate area. I wish I did my research on this place. Ofsted visited in December following a complaint and it was served with a welfare requirements notice for not maintaining standards.

        If there was an option for ten stars I would give them ten! I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. Unlike the bigger nurserys, its a real personal service and all of the staff get to know your child. Its obvious they really care and I have no doubt that they have excelled my childs development.
