Yorkshire Appetite Food Tours

Had a wonderful tour with Kay yesterday. Ate at some lovely places - hope to come back to Harrogate soon to visit them again for longer! Really interesting tour, and the food was perfect. Best food: the first two dishes! Eggs florentine with amazing salad leaves, and a Yorkshire pudding with pulled pork, mash, and a whole lot more Thank you Kay!

We really enjoyed our food and drink tour of Otley with Jill. We spent a very happy three hours visiting five independent businesses, meeting the owners and hearing a little of their history. And we got to sample some wonderful bread, savouries and cakes, local gin and spiced rum, cheeses and chutneys, and chocolate truffles, all rounded off with a nice cup of tea! A great way to see a different side of a local town and support local businesses.

Had a great day on the food tour with Paul. Really informative with the history of Harrogate and the venues we visited were great. Would highly recommend. We will be trying the York tour later this year.

(Visited Sep 2021) As the best man for a massive foodie, it made sense to take the groom-to-be on a food tour around the city where we all met (it was a mix of boys and girls so not your conventional rowdy stag, haha). Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and took us to 4 stops around the city. I wont discuss any of the eateries or their dishes, but the tour passes through many of Yorks iconic streets and landmarkswear sensible footwear! Compared to other tours Ive done, 4 stops isnt many- another one or two would have provided greater value for money (it was 55 each so leans towards the more expensive side of York activities). Even though Id lived there four years, I was introduced to some exciting and different venues. Everybody loved it and we got a small goodie bag at the end.
