I really wish there was a 0 star option. My grandad moved into this care home in January 2021 and he lived until April 2021. We put him into this care home totally blind as we couldnt visit because of covid and this is our biggest regret. The care home staff are rude and very unorganised and genuinely never cared, my grandad went into the care home a strong healthy man and ended up being stick thin, gaunt and dehydrated man. He had one hospital admission when he was there and I had to literally beg them to ring an ambulance for him. He stayed in hospital for about 10 days and this was cause of delirium and dehydration. Upon being in hospital it was also brought to our attention he was over dosed on buprenorphine by the care home. He lived 3 months in this care home and the staff didnt know him when he passed away. I had an argument with a nurse on the door step about visiting my grandad when I made an appointment and she called me a liar. When we got the call my grandad didnt have long left the only thing they were bothered about was if we would be there for his birthday and they kept pestering us about this appointment for his birthday when he wasnt going to make it to his birthday, sadly he died 2 days short of his 90th. Honestly me and my family live with regret everyday knowing we put him in such an awful place and I cant even begin to imagine what his final months were like.

Worst care home I have ever put my foot in and by the time I put my foot in that care home was that day my grandad died. He went in a healthy man and lasted 3 months there. The care is appalling and they neglected my grandad. The staff attitudes are vile and they are extremely rude. I cant imagine the experience my grandad had to suffer through in those Months and we were non the wiser as a family due to vivid and not being able to visit him because care homes were closed. Now for the rest of my life and my families life we all life with regret. Now seeing reviews and articles is breaks my heart for my grandad no one should have to suffer the way he did. Never ever consider this care home as a place for relatives.
