Decided to look into EnviroVent after becoming aware of what we thought was damp patches spreading across our lounge wall ... One firm we invited in suggested taking off all plaster on the wall up to a level of 3 feet & removing a brick every foot or so completely along the lounge ... This ( we were told ) would create a barrier from the "damp cavity wall insulation "as this was the problem This man stayed with us over 2 hours & tried his best to convince us he could cure "The Problem" but the lounge would need to dry out for several weeks before re - plastering could take place You can imagine I'm sure how happy we were to have a straight forward visit from a nice man ( a very nice man ! ) who told us This is NOT damp. It's condensation. Pure & simple & to prove it damp tested the whole wall. Not once did his damp meter show a reading of damp He then proceeded to explain to us the benefits of EnviroVent & put our minds at ease with an extremely reasonable price too ... We were impressed to say the least & looked at all the information we could find on this company & it's products It seemed to be the way forward for us & we booked our installation Early days but already we notice the " funny smell " around the bungalow has gone & since treatment of the black marks on the wallpaper - they have NOT returned so up to now ... It does exactly what it says on the tin ! If you stand directly underneath it in the hallway & listen carefully you can hear a VERY faint hum but hardly anything ... I was concerned about noise from the unit as I suffer from severe Tinnitus but No this is not a problem in any way whatsoever ... The unit comes guaranteed so you cannot lose in our opinion Our 4star score is only because we await to see how it performs ... I don't doubt our score will rise to 5 stars in the future Edit review - 03 - 01 - 23 Over a year now since we had our EnviroVent system installed - as mentioned in previous review we have waited to see how it has performed before giving a higher score but can now assure any would be buyer not to hesitate as we would definitely raise our * star * rating to five - even more if we could - The unit performance has done everything we were told it would & I have no problem whatsoever with noise disturbance from the very slight hum coming from the " disc " on the ceiling in the hallway ( concerns due to my tinnitus) NO black marks have appeared anywhere in our bungalow since we had the EnviroVent fitted Just in case you are wondering - NO I have not been offered any financial compensation for writing this review if it helps someone that's thanks enough

Gave a quote & fitted the product promptly. Only a twelve months warranty given, so when the mould & condensation came back the following winter i tried to make contact & funnily enough the after service is extremely disappointing. Still awaiting an appt from an engineer & still have mould. Avoid like the plague!

Makes the whole house like an igloo. Never did the rep advise it would reduce the temperature within the house so dramatically.

Extremely happy with our new Atmos PIV. Perfect solution for condensation and damp in older properties. Problems disappear almost immediately. We had contacted Envirovent after we moved into our 400+ year old house with an existing and very old noisy PIV unit. I contacted Envirovent and Luke promptly called me back and arranged to do a survey of the existing unit which was found to be on its last legs. A replacement unit was agreed upon and Head Office rang a week later to say they had had a cancellation and could fit the replacement the next day. Gary came as arranged and made quick work of replacing the old unit with a new Atmos PIV. It breathed new life into our damp old house almost immediately. A quiet, efficient, low cost solution. Extremely happy with the product service we received. Luke and Gary were particularly great. Thank you.
