From the moment we first saw Fountains House we knew it had huge potential but we didnt have a clue where to start. A Google search resulted in finding Stylesmith (we liked the fact that they worked with architects and builders too!). On our initial consultation and visit to the property with Justine and Rachael it was clear we didnt have to contact alternative companies ; their visions, enthusiasm, friendliness and professionalism was evidence enough. The only brief we gave Stylesmith was timeless elegance as at Grantley Hall! After seeing the initial moodboards we knew they understood! From room layouts to the style of furniture to textiles and colours, Justine and Rachael explained their choices and as the project progressed if we werent sure on something, we learnt to trust them. They were always right! We were keen to use local tradespeople and were delighted that this is Stylesmiths policy too. Each one was exceptional in their service and the quality of the products and workmanship is simply outstanding . Justine worked closely with the architects and builders too which helped enormously as we lived a two hour drive away at the time. As our previous home had a more contemporary look, we had to start anew with dressing Fountains House so Rachael took charge of this and the end result is simply stunning! We often look around our new home and pinch ourselves as it is so much more than we imagined. Its all down to Stylesmiths vision and dedication from start to finish. They are a delight to work with , such excellent value for money and we simply could not be happier with the end result! Engaging STYLESMITH INTERIORS has been one of the best decisions I made during my recent house alteration/renovation project. From helping me choose colours for walls, ceilings, woodwork as well as the kitchen cabinets, to selecting and sourcing bathroom tiles, blinds, cushions, lighting as well as hand-made furniture they were great! Rachael and Justine listened to what I was looking for, but also healthily challenged my views and provided many new ideas, things I would never have thought of. The outcome is fantastic everything matches perfectly and the design flows through the entire house. I could not be happier! Rachel from Stylesmiths developed concept boards and room/lighting layouts for most rooms in our house and did a wonderful job. We bought a house built in the 1950s which was last decorated in the 90s and there was just very little character to build from and so I felt really lost in how to decorate it. Rachel gave us guidance on colours and style and some ideas that we would never have thought about which made the most of each room and created a co-ordinated look throughout the whole house, which we love. We are going to really enjoy implementing all of Rachels ideas and would thoroughly recommend Rachel and Stylesmith Interiors.
