        Nicely situated within easy walking distance from the town center, the Ascot House hotel is a beautiful period property that has been tastefully updated without having lost any of its historical features or charm. The bathrooms are modern with high quality towels and the bathrobes are a nice luxury touch. David and his staff keep everything immaculately clean and the full Yorkshire breakfast is nicely cooked and presented - a real treat to wake up to.

        Currently staying in this delightful hotel. The room is quiet, warm and comfortable. It has all the facilities youd expect (tea and coffee making and an iron) and the bed is HUGE. Breakfast was delicious and served by really friendly staff with a really good choice of breakfasts. The location is also perfect for a short walk into town. It also has off street parking. Please note, room 27 (the loft room) wouldnt be suitable for anyone with mobility issues but Im sure the hotel highlighted this when booking.
