My late father was extremely loyal to this business and spent tens of thousands of pounds there on window dressings for his home and mine .over decades. So having lost my Dad and then my husband an NHS surgeon who died on the Covid frontline , I expected kindness and empathy working together with this firm that knew the family . The owner came to my home and agreed to make new blinds but refused to shorten and narrow some silk curtains and blinds that has been sun damaged . Obviously I would be paying his regular high rate . He told me to go and find a curtain repairer and that he would only do the new work . He didn't even bother to look in my son's room where I had wanted to update the window dressings and redecorate to cheer my son , having lost his Dad . The owner , Rustan , was in and out in 18 minutes . Barely interested at all but still sent me a quote for one blind at over 1, 500 , even though he refused to help me at a time of need with the other work . What made matters worse was that his assistant Jill said that he does do curtain alterations for other clients . He was rude , arrogant and unhelpful to me , whilst knowing I am on my own now with a son with a chronic disease and an elderly mother is mentally unwell . I just wanted some help and kind co operation - all of which I would have paid for at his high prices . My late father will be turning in his grave . Please avoid as no one should be rewarded with work when they are unkind and without compassion in these difficult times .

Always get good service here. Excellent choice of blind materials. Very pleasant staff.
