First of all, may I apologise to Sue (the B&B owner) as I was going to write this review at least a good month or so back but ordinary working day life has pushed this review back. Booking.com where I placed the booking through won't let me place the review on there anymore so instead I'll just have to put it on here! We stayed at this accommodation for a long weekend for the annual board games festival, Airecon. Sue welcomed us in and was an exceptional host. We felt very comfortable in our room and the room was lovely and clean. To our surprise when we arrived we got an free upgrade to a slightly bigger room as the one we booked was currently being refurbished. We didn't stay for the breakfast in the mornings so I can't comment on them but they did smell lovely on the way out so we may need to get one the next time we stay here (and we will be back!). On the Sunday we were due to check out in the morning but the event still ran on until the afternoon, I mentioned this to Sue and she said I was still more than welcome to leave the car parked up outside on the street so we wouldn't have to drive off to try and find somewhere else in the area. If you need somewhere to stay that is close to the city centre (this place is ideal for the Harrogate Convention Centre which is literally just across the road from it!) then I would highly recommend this B&B. Excellent service and a true gem of a B&B in the Harrogate area.
