SHAME ON THE HARROGATE BRANCH My father has an account with HSBC in Harrogate. He moved back to his home in Switzerland quite a few years ago. He had a cardiac arrest and has neurological deficits. Despite legal communication with Switzerland they will not release his money because he cannot travel to England or tell them his former address in Harrogate over the phone. He will be 87 years old this year. He is very frail.This is causing him stress. He is trying to sort out his affairs. He is right when he says its my money SHAME ON YOU. IF OTHER ELDERLY PEOPLE ARE IN THIS POSITION PLEASE ADD TO THIS POST, HAVE YOUR FAMILY ADD TO THIS POST. The treatment of my father is just plain wicked

Horrible experience. It is impossible to speak with anyone on the telephone in the UK so you get put through to a call centre in the Philipines which is a complete waste of time. I won't be doing business with this bank.

I was new in uk I want to open a bank account in HSBC ,Mr.Adam helped me to complete the procedure it very helpful thanks

been with this bank for 7 years, because no one else wanted to open an account for a foreigner with zero money. idk what everyones problems are with them. easy to use, in uk or abroad, anything thats suspicious, they decline it for your own good - its impossible to get scammed- quick service, never had to wait longer than 2 minutes to be seen. been with the oxford, leamington and harrogate branch so far.
