We asked him for a quote to make the roof weatherproof and replace one tile, we showed him on the ridge tiles where the cement was missing and damaged and he quoted for pointing up everywhere that needs it so we agreed On the day he was here less than 30 minutes and as I was working and my husband is on crutches after an operation he didn't check the work until after they left and we paid but they haven't touched most of the work they quoted for and even parts they pointed out needed doing when quoting and also caused damage to the cement on the gable side with the banging which is very obvious as large sections missing now with holes going through to the attic and other parts seriously cracked and ready to fall off but just swept up and ignored by them so we now have to get another roofing company in to repair the roof correctly and repair their damage Service: Roof repair

Charged 460 to repoint all the ridge tiles with new cement and replace one tile but didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing when he turned up, he was banging with such force on the roof even the contents of the kitchen cupboards were moving and vibrating and it damaged the cement verge on the gable end with large sections over 8 inches long falling out and other parts over 3ft now cracked and ready to fall out. He took advantage of the fact I was on crutches and said after less than 30 minutes he was finished and all the work was done, I trusted him and paid but then when I checked his work it was shocking, He hadn't touched any of the ridge tiles and left all the existing cement there damaged and cracked, he replaced the broken tile but in the process broke other tiles and just tried to use rapid set cement to stick the broken bits back and left the gable end severely damaged with large holes exposed through to the attic when it wasn't even part of the repair job as was fine before he came. Since then he has shown how unprofessional he is, I've had 3 companies and a roofing surveyor tell me all the cement in the gable end needs taking off and redoing as it's not weatherproof anymore and badly damaged and all the ridge tiles still needed doing so I've had to pay over 1500 now to repair the roof and install a dry ridge and dry verge kit due to the extent of the damage to the gable side of the house. He will not act professional and pay for his damage or even contribute a small amount towards it and left me to pay for the damage he caused and he just cares about the bad reviews my wife left him and not the hassle or expense he has caused us. He seems like he has no respect for customers or their houses, doesn't have any pride in his work and is more than happy to quote for work then not do it on the day but still charge for it so he is just a rogue builder who is a disgrace to his trade. Dan was great, friendly and efficient service. The neighbours had a leak through the join between properties, Dan and his team stripped it back, put a new bonding guttering and made good the slates/tiles on both properties. Definitely keeping his number for any future work.

Highly recommended, by far the best roofer I've ever come across. Professional attitude from the start, plenty of communication and lots of pictures to detail the work required. Topped off with a very competitive price and excellent standard of work. Will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Done a cracking job for us on a couple occassions now, provides good before and after evidence of work done and generally very quick service. Will use again for any roofing issues in the future.
