Came here in an ambulance then sent to sit in waiting area not seen by anyone for over 2 hours including triage, in absolute agony hot and cold sweats from the pain to be told to "chill out on my breathing" when asking for help by the AnE staff. Felt like no one took me seriously. i sat on the floor in the corridor to get some privacy an

Visited Womens Health on a number of occasions over the last few weeks. Staff from Consultants to nurses to admin staff treated me professionally, and with kindness.

Shocking maternity care. From parking issues, long waits, incorrect/conflicting appointments to the m2 maternity ward issues. If you have another hospital you can chose to give birth I would strongly advise to do so. We have used Oldham hospitbefore and never had any issues whatsoever (and that was in 2020 during covid) My wife is 36 weeks pregnant with mcda twins and was booked in to be induced. After 18 hours of false promises we were advised to go home and come back at 9 am which to no surprise, was delayed again and not happening the day after either. There are women on this ward in severe pain from starting induction, who are now in labour, but unable to progress down to the delivery ward because no beds are available or staff. After raising our concerns with the midwife, as the nhs guidelines state 36 week delivery, no later than 37 weeks for mcda twins, and the stress this has put my wife under, walking past the ward staff room we overheard the same midwife we had spoken to 5 minutes earlier saying to the other members of staff its not my fault you are stressed Its disgraceful and women dont deserve to be treated this way during what is supposed to be a very special time. I sincerely hope you dont see this as and awkward/moaning patient like we are made to feel or another eye rolling opportunity, and actually see it as a breach of patient confidentiality and medical negligence.
