The bar area was comfortable and ambient with a good selection of drinks. However our dining experience was atrocious. Lots of dishes were off the menu so choosing our meal was difficult as we were not advised of this until we had chosen. The food was flavourless, cold and beige. The starters looked like they had been reheated over and over. Everything arrived cold. I have never been out for a meal where most of our party was unable to eat the food. This was not a cheap meal, but the food served was cheap and uninspiring. We could get a much better meal for a much more reasonable price at many other local pubs. Our waitress, Molly was delightful, polite and professional in very difficult circumstances. The best part of my meal was the afogato, but what can go wrong with ice cream, coffee and baileys. Except I wasnt given anything to eat it with!!! We wont be returning to eat.
