Hello Peoples
The reason I give this school a one star is that when I did the test I got 40th place and my friend got 42nd place and they give him the place at this point I was crying my eyes out because I got into nene academy so the school should get children from more religions I still think that the school choose the other child was because he was a Christian and I was a Hindu and when we did the appeal they said this school would not be fit for you so if you are looking for a good school you should go to Bourne grammar .

All of our four children have gone through the Kings School and we have been blessed by it as a family. I am sure the teachers work as a labour of love and for their Christian service as the school cannot be paying top salaries whilst keeping the fees remarkably low. It is a christian school and manages to support many christian families from different church backgrounds. With the small size of classes and the number of pupils in each year group they make a big effort to provide additional sporting activities and various school trips which are often facilitated by the teachers giving their own time to make them happen. I have read some negative comments and whilst no school is going to be perfect and Kings is not either - as an environment for my children it was the best place for them and I am grateful for the opportunity to send our children there.

As a past parent of the school I can highly recommend The Kings School. The staff and leadership team create a warm and caring environment where children are encouraged to excel at their academic studies whilst having the opportunity to take part in, amongst other things, sport, music and outreach trips abroad all of which result in well rounded, confident pupils leaving the school to move on to the next phase of their education. If you are looking to give your child a positive education experience, underpinned by a strong Christian ethos then this is the school for you.

The King's School has disappointingly lost it's ways. This was a good school up until Sept 2017. The spiritual essence that this school had has disappeared. They are trying far too hard to become like every other independent school, in doing so the unique special reputation this school once had, has diminished. All the spirit filled teachers have left and only the sub-standard remain. So many families have left this school over Summer of 2017, because they like we all saw the changes coming. In my opinion so many good teachers and students / families have left when all this could have been avoided by relieving the principal Clive Case of his duties. I fear the direction this school takes over the coming years as The King's School will remain in Clive Case's hands and will be special no more.
