Superb service! The staff at Skye are both compassionate and professional, their attention to detail is second to none. They explain what they are doing and why. Nothing is too much trouble and they are happy to see you aa quickly as they can. Highly recommend!

Incompetent, negligent, unethical and unprofessional My prescription had nine errors out of 16 measurements. The frames were unsuitable and too small - they did not fit and caused me soft tissue damage. After replacing the first spectacles they still did not fit ten visits later. They finally agreed that the frames had been wrongly prescribed and told me to get new frames. They charged me 1,225. I have reported three of their staff to their professional bodies for misconduct and concerns over their fitness to practice and the company to the NHS. Avoid them at all costs there are many other competent, cheaper and much better and more ethical opticians in Harpenden.

Popped in to Skye Opticians in Harpenden to select a new pair of glasses. Was looked after by trainee dispensing optician Ella who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She took endless trouble to take me through all my options. She is a credit to Skye

Friendly staff, clean premises, professional eye care. Thought the eye-test was double what I should have paid, and the price quoted for varifocals was expensive imho.

I have been a customer for 40 years always been more than happy until the company was sold to a very large faceless company. The service is so bad now.
