My husband and I had the pleasure of dealing with Sue Mitchell at NFU Mutual. We were in a bit of a tricky spot in relation to purchasing a new property and we were down to the wire in terms of timing. Sue went out of her way to help us, and provided a fantastic service. We had every confidence that we would be able to exchange on time, and Sue was excellent at communicating updates to us. Given the stress associated with purchasing a property (for us, for the first time as well), the insurance side of things was made as simple as possible, as Sue talked us through everything very clearly and made the process as straightforward as possible. All the staff I speak to at my NFU Office in Harpenden and St Albans are freindly, helpful and most importantly, human. I don't have cause to speak to them often but when I do they always know who I am which makes it a very personal service. The recent claim I made was dealt with in record time and I feel fortunate and relieved to have my belongings insured by the NFU.
