Lovely clinic and receptionist in quiet countryside just outside Upminster, easy parking. However after initial happy year, I felt my cat's problems weren't fully understood or explained and have moved.

We have been with this vet surgery for 21 years and never had any complaints, all the staff are caring and professional at the same time, they keep the atmosphere calm and relaxed for visits which is important if your pet is anxious, I would highly Recommend this vet surgery to everyone who is looking for somewhere to feel at ease when their pets need treatments and somewhere that only gives you what they need and dont over price your visits

Ive been using Ivy lodge for about a year I signed up my dog and a year ago they were great and seemed to have a lot more staff around. I cannot fault the receptionist she is lovely and very caring but the vet /nurse at current seems to be struggling I also know the owner is trying to retire so this may be causing some of the issues. I took my cats in for castration/ spaying and told them that I thought my female cat was pregnant but the vet couldnt tell if she was and said it was likely to be cysts then informed me a few days later she may be pregnant but they wanted to operate anyways. My cat was pregnant and only had a few weeks to go which I was informed of after taking her elsewhere for a second opinion. I got a quote for my male cat too but I was quoted almost 4 times the price of another vets and the average going rate for castration and I have decided to take my animals elsewhere.
