Medium sized, free car park. Flat and laid with gravel. A good relaxing walk over the common. Some of the walks are a little uneven. Good views over London and Kent. Plenty of birds singing, this would be a good place to come at dusk in the Summer to see bats and other wildlife. A hidden gem

Very essential but poorly maintained car park off Nags Head Lane for Tylers Common Thames Chase Woodlands and nearby Harold Court Woods! The car park is in desperate need of repairs - all form of defects you can imagine you can find at this car park - uneven surface, deep & shallow potholes, surface deterioration, edge failure, cracking, rutting and subsidence. It is almost as dangerous as it could be - it is strongly recommended to be vigilant and Drive very carefully and slowly avoiding potholes and - in particular - after rain - the water might hide the depth of the deep potholes! A small section adjacent to the Tylers Common Interpretation Text and Picnic Area is made of turmac and still in good condition. Nevertheless, the Tylers Common is another excellent part of Thames Chase Community Woodlands with direct links to Tylers Wood and Harold Court Woods! It perhaps better to use other nearby Woodlands car parks - Tylers Wood Car Park off Warley Road, Harold Court Woods Car Park off Harold Court Road.
