        Seriously old-fashioned pub, mostly in a good way. Very much a local's place. No food. Cash only. Oddly doesn't open until 7pm in the evenings.

        This pub is an amazing time capsule that never changes. I have visited Leyburn for almost 40 years with my parent's & now my wife & it's a total joy to call into The Pheasant. The same couple own & run it with the warmest of welcome's & ambience to match. From the open fire to the copper topped tables, they just don't make them like this anymore.
