Lower Wensleydale Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

After staying here over the Bank Holiday weekend we really enjoyed it even with the site fully booked up. The staff are very welcoming and hard working and full of useful information. The site is full of alcoves and levels so we didn't feel we were crammed in and still had plenty of privacy. There are plenty of walks around the site and back into Leyburn which is a lovely Dales market town probably one of the best we have visited so far. There is also a large variety of wildlife you can hear in the early morning and evening and really gives you that back to nature feeling . Well worth a visit.

What a brilliant Site The Staff are fantastic The Peacock is fab aswell sitting in his tree and wandering the site The whole place was great Lovely and clean great pitches. The shower block was very good excellent hot showers. None of the push button ones The Washing up are outside had really good hot water some sites are a bit on the cooler side The walk into Leyburn was 25 mins tops with some great Shops and Pubs If you do stay here make sure you go to The Pheasant pub it is just over the level Crossing Well worth it Cath will look after you Be advised No Music No Fruit machines No Television It makes you talk to other people Also its Cash only Check the opening times when you go All in all its a great Site Put it on your list of site's to visit

The camp site is very well kept and handy location. However, the facilities are really dated and need a facelift Nearby activities: Plenty of walks near by. Leyburn an easy walk. The brewery and leyburn station near too
