Polly was amazing the whole way through our planning process and also on the day of our wedding. Polly was never far away and quick to answer any questions about the venue or the process of the day. Polly was also very helpful during the day helping to make everything run smoothly and check everyone was okay ! We would definitely recommend to anyone- every wedding needs a Polly !

We would highly recommend Polly/Blue Bay Events to anyone planning their wedding. Supportive throughout and made the cancellations/movements of our wedding date, due to covid 2 times, stress free. We found the service particularly beneficial as we do not live local to our venue, Durlston Castle. The day was even better than we had imagined and we literally did not have to do anything on the day! Even the day before and after our wedding we were not needing to go to the venue and could enjoy time with friends and family in the build up/post celebrations. We hired Blue Bay Events for our wedding at Durlston which was due to take place in September 2020. Polly was extremely knowledgeable and had a long list of contacts when we had our first meeting so we knew we were in good hands. Unfortunately Covid then hit and we took the decision to postpone our day for nine months. Polly was extremely supportive with our decision and couldn't have been more helpful with our changing plans (which continued for some time!). With Polly's expertise, we had the best wedding ever! It wasn't the day, we had originally planned but we wouldn't have changed it for the world. On the day Polly had everything in place, didn't stop all day to make sure we had what we needed and no job was too much. We couldn't have imagined going through all of that without Polly by our side.

I can't recommend Polly and her team highly enough! We hired Polly to help coordinate our wedding in the final month leading up to it, and on the day itself. Being a marquee wedding - having some help coordinating the suppliers was a godsend - and Polly was just brilliant. Such a calm, organised person - nothing phases her and she always puts you at ease. From a month out I knew we had nothing to worry about - Polly contacted all our suppliers and took over all the communications with them from that point. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had and was came up with brilliant solutions to any last minute issues. It was so reassuring having Polly there with us when we were setting up the day before. On the wedding day, when I arrived at the marquee after the church, it looked amazing - Polly had worked with all the suppliers to make sure the final touches looked exactly as we had requested. She's a real star - thank you so much Polly!!!

If you are unsure about whether you need a wedding planner or not, have 1 meeting and you'll make your mind up very quickly. This should be a once in a lifetime moment that you're meant to enjoy, not stress about with the build up or even on your special day. Having someone advise you about the prices you're paying for external caterers, marquees or pointing out ways to structure your day more efficiently is worth the money alone. Having someone on the day, making sure everything runs smoothly without you having to worry is what makes all the difference - it gives you more time to interact with guests, you don't need to know all the times of everything and the day runs naturally.
